Nintendo of America tweeted out graciously a chart to make our lives a little easier and help figure out which version of Fire Emblem Fates we would most likely be happy with. I went through the flow chart and it suggests I get Birthright. Many of us probably want all 3 versions though so a helpful tip that came through via Facebook:
“- Either buy a physical one and buy the other route through the in-game store for $20 (not eshop) or
– Buy one through the eshop and the other route through the in-game store for $20 (not eshop) or
– Buy the special editionYou’ll link them, which gives you a link bonus (free items), a discount ($20 dollars for the other route), and any future DLC you buy will be linked to both routes instead of just one (maps, etc).” — Courtesy of one Sarah L.
This tip is very helpful as I know many people are going to end up paying full price for both copies and the DLV Revelation. At least the above route will help you save some money and get the full advantage of all story lines.
