If you’ve already preordered a Switch (or at least plan to get one at some point), you don’t have to wait until March 3rd to create your username for the new console.

This is a separate name from your Nintendo Network ID (if you already have an ID), but both accounts will be linked.

Go to:

https://accounts.nintendo.com

Navigate to the User ID section and click Edit to enter your ID.
